UKGLRP

Hey everyone,

This isn’t an easy post to write. After months of dedication, countless hours of work, and a lot of hope, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to bring the UKGL RP FiveM server project to an end.

When I first started this project, I had high hopes of creating an amazing community where people could come together, share immersive roleplay experiences, and just have fun. For a while, it really felt like we were onto something great. But as time went on, it became clear that the challenges we faced especially with Rockstar tightening their rules around modding and roleplay servers—made it impossible to keep moving forward.

Thank You to the Supporters

First and foremost, I want to say thank you to everyone who supported this project. Whether you were there from the very beginning, contributed ideas, helped test features, or just cheered us on, you were a huge part of this journey. Your passion and belief in what we were trying to build kept us going through thick and thin, and I’ll never forget that.

A huge shoutout goes to the incredible team that worked so hard to make UKGL RP a reality. You put in so much time and effort designing, coding, testing, and brainstorming and I couldn’t be prouder of what we accomplished. We may not have hit the finish line, but the work we did still means something, and I’ll always be grateful for everything we achieved.

Why It Had to End

This decision didn’t come lightly. Beyond the usual challenges of building and running a FiveM server, the constant changes and tightening of Rockstar’s rules made things even harder. Their new restrictions on modding and roleplay servers created roadblocks we just couldn’t get around, no matter how hard we tried. It became clear that continuing would not only be unsustainable but could also put us in a tough spot legally. It’s frustrating, to say the least, but I had to do what was right.

Moving Forward

I will be staying on Linux full time to not only complete a course but to try and start a business within advertising media. More info will come in time with this new project.

Thank You

To everyone who has been part of this journey: thank you all Your support meant everything, and I’ll always look back on this experience with gratitude.

Here’s to whatever comes next.
